Privacy Policy

ReconWise is designed to help organizations analyze and reconcile financial activity. We recognize that the information involved in that process may be sensitive. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, how we protect it, and the choices and rights available to you.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to ReconWise, including the website located at info.reconwisetx.com, associated ReconWise services, and features through which users upload financial information or connect supported accounting systems.

ReconWise provides tools for comparing bank and credit-card activity with accounting records, including information obtained through an authorized QuickBooks Online connection. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Submitting a Request

To exercise an applicable privacy right, contact us using the information in Section 6. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. This helps prevent unauthorized persons from accessing or deleting information belonging to another individual.

Financial and accounting information requires careful handling. ReconWise uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed.

Connected Services

If you disconnect an integrated third-party service, such as QuickBooks Online, that action may stop future retrieval of data from the connected service. Information previously obtained or generated through ReconWise may remain subject to applicable retention requirements and account-management processes.

ReconWise is a business and accounting service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not intend to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the service.
